The filtering service brings together all the functionalities that constitute access to Internet sites via the Artica Proxy service or Internet access network services such as DNS.
It is used to centralize local filtering rules between various services such as Proxy, DNS but also can be shared between different Artica servers installed in the network
Artica Filtering service is available with Artica v4.40 or Artica v 4.30 Service Pack 685.
¶ About the Filtering service
The purpose of the filtering service is to centralize the use of Internet site databases in order to consolidate the security of requests to Internet domains.
As all the requests are sent to this service and this service is able to alter answers, services such as the IT Charter and HotSpot are gathered around its process.

The Newly Registered Domains category stores all new domains created 7 days ago.

All the filtering features are available in the filtering service menu.
You can activate some features using the “Features” section
By default, features are available locally and remotely only if you enable the server feature.
Choose you additional feature and click on “Install the feature" button.
