Reporting unknown categorized websites provides the following benefits:
- Often, the sites unknown to Artica tech teams can be new and often malicious sites that are also unknown to your users.
- A good categorization of your users' browsing ensures an understanding of the trend of internet usage and allows you to modify your access strategies on your bandwidth.
The unknown site reporting feature is very easy to set up.
Everything is done automatically.
When you activate this feature, your Artica server will send the list of uncategorized websites to the Artica tech Cloud.
Periodically, Artica will re-check the sites to see if they have been categorized.
Categorized sites are automatically removed from the queue after a delay of 3 days.
- On the left menu, go to "
Filtering service" > “Uncategorized” - Turn on the Feature by clicking on the “Enable the Feature” button.
- After few times, you will see the list of not categorized domains.
- Domains with the green icon are successfully categorized and you can see the time processing to categorize your domains in the Updated column.
- Domains in the grey icon are still not categorized and wait for categorization.
