Artica provides a management interface to monitor, manage, and backup an LDAP service.
The OpenLDAP service enables Artica to use a database of user accounts.These user accounts can be used to identify users on the Web console, but also to authenticate users with services that ensure user verification, such as the Proxy service or SMTP relay.
- Install the OpenLDAP database feature
The OpenLDAP database inside Artica allows you to provide a user authentication method for the HTTP Proxy, the Artica Web console access and the HotSpot service

This architecture is very useful when you have several Artica servers using the OpenLDAP service and you want to automatically update the elements of a database.
