You can access this feature only if you have activated the Firewall feature for Reverse-Proxy and Web services.
This feature is supported starting to Artica v4.30 with Service Pack instable 959 or Artica v4.40
The purpose of the Web Incoming Firewall is to block incoming traffic to your Web service.
Note that it only works on web services.
Its scope is only everything that the Web account (reverse-proxy service and the Artica Web console) uses as a service.
Thus, for example, it does not offer protection on the SSH, FTP, DNS or proxy service.
- You will find the feature using the left menu “
Web Firewall” > “Incoming Firewall” - To deny an IP address, click on “New Rule” button
- Firewall rules deny sources addresses to communicate to all of your websites.
In the address field, set and IP address (192.168.1.1) or a CDIR notation (192.168.1.0/24) or a hostname. - Set the description of your rule and click on Create button.
- Click on Apply configuration button to make your rules in production mode.
