Use of categories is supported using the Artica v4.40 or Artica v4.30 with unstable service pack 685 ( or above)
Note that this feature can be disabled for better performance
In order to use it, you must make sure that you have activated the server mode in the filtering service section.
This is the case even if you use all the services on the same Artica server.
The Artica Categories object allows you:
- Associate a domain or host to a category through the Artica cloud if you have an Enterprise Edition.
- Associate a domain or host to a personal category if you have created categories
On a DNS Rule, inside the Objects section, you can choose the object “Artica Categories”
- Open the new object and click on “Add category” in order to choose your personal categories or Artica official categories.
- After choosing all categories, your new object will store them and is available in your rules
