Category lookup allows the DNS Firewall to change its behaviour depending on the host family to be resolved, but this operation is costly because it requires to request the filtering service to get the category.
This Feature is available on Artica v4.50 SP0 with Hotfix 20230823-13
- After apply the patch, on the left menu, go to “
DNS” > “DNS Firewall” - Click on Global Settings tab
- Click on Find Categories item
- Turn OFF the “Find Categories” option and click on Apply button.
Note that disabling this feature will disable acls objects in your domain geolocation rules and rules that use categories.
