Since version 4.30 Service Pack 955, you can ask Artica to retrieve a list of Internet sites from a remote resource.
In many cases, this feature makes it easy to build lists based on categories.
However, this first version does not allow you to retrieve files in tar.gz format, the format used by the databases produced by the University of Toulouse.
This feature has been added in version 4.50 hotfix 20240210-18 or 4.50 Service pack 1.
It therefore makes it possible to exploit the databases of the University of Toulouse.
Here's how it works:
To do this, you need to:
- Retrieve the links for each database you wish to inject into the system.
Open this web page http://dsi.ut-capitole.fr/blacklists/download/ - Create a new personal category under “
Your Categories” click onNew Categoryand name it ( use a different name than Artica officials categories )
- Open the new created category and select the “
External sources” tab. - Create a new source and put the url of the University of Toulouse compressed category.
- Turn on the “
Clean datas” option, this option forces the table to be cleared of data.
So if some sites are removed from the original database, they will also be removed from your category.
Otherwise, the sites will still be present.
- After few minutes, you will see your new populated category
