To switch to rescue mode, you have lost the root password.
This works only If you have customized the boot manager and enabled the “Booting in Rescue mode without password”
when the system startup, you have an option in the boot “Recovery mode - Artica”
- System will be started in a minimal way without prompt for password.
Type the command:
passwd root
and type the password twice (Note that the keyboard is on QWERTY - Unless you have enabled the azerty option in the Boot Manager )
Reset the server.
