By default SMTP notifications are not enabled.
SMTP notification service was totally rebuild in artica v4.40, this article is designed for Artica 4.40/4.50
The SMTP Notification service is used to :
- Notify by eMail Critical events from Artica.
- Send confirm messages for using Auto-registration feature in the HotSpot service
- Categories detections report
- On the left menu, choose “Your system” and “Notifications”
- Turn on the checkbox “Enable SMTP Notification”
- Define the parameters of your mail server and click on apply.
- By default, you will receive all “critical” events generated by Artica by email
- Use SMTP2Go for notifications
