After a kernel upgrade or a reboot, your system crashes with a Kernel panic - not syncing: no working init found
To fix this issue, you need to reboot the system and pass in recovery mode.
- During the boot, on the GRUB Menu, choose the Advanced option menu item
- Select an older kernel, you machine should boot properly
- With an Unix console or SSH session, run these command lines
update-initramfs -u -k allupdate-grub
- Reboot your system
