To build Let’s Encrypt certificate your server needs to be contacted by the Let’s Encrypt public web servers in order to verify that you are the owner of the domain.
This means the Let’s Encrypt certificate cannot to be used on internal servers.
This Article is for Artica v4.50 with latest Hotfix or Service pack 1
- On the left menu, choose
“Your System” > “Certificate Center” - Click on the button Let's Encrypt Certificate

Creating an SSL certificate requires the use of the Reverse-proxy service. It is not installed on your server.", please refer to this article
- Fill the form properly and take car about all hosts you set in domains fields.
The Let's Encrypt cloud service will resolve the hostnames you specify and connect to these sites to verify that you are the owner of the website. - If one of the domains you have registered is not available, then the certificate generation will fail.
- It is not possible to specify a Public IP address as a domain.
- A new page is displayed and ask you to confirm your settings. Click on Create Certificate button.
- If the creation of a certificate is a success, it will be displayed as a let's encrypt certificate in the main table.
