The objective is to have your users pass through a single point so you can log access and control access to external SSH resources.
This feature is available on Artica v4.40 Service Pack 62.
In a simplified setup, the username
used to connect to the SSH proxy determines the final target SSH server.
The client configuration remains straightforward: it simply connects to the SSH proxy as the destination server and authenticates as usual.
If the SSH service is installed directly on the Artica system, Artica automatically places it behind the SSH proxy.
In this case, any users who do not match a forwarding rule will be routed to the local SSH service instead.
