If you install only a single machine, the current node that act as Central node and scanner node claim “Unable to guarantee fault tolerance of the application: no servers with Secondary node role”
To add a new node, install a server with the same installation procedure ( see How to install Kaspersky Web traffic Security on a Debian system )
On the node that will act as central node, click on “Add node”
- Give the address of the new node and click on Next button
- Confirm the Certificate fingerprint and click on “Confirm” Button.
- You node is added and generates an error, in this case, it is normal, antivirus databases must be downloaded first.
You did not have to do something, just wait few times, it will be synchronized.
- After few times it will be turned to a new error that require the server to be rebooted.
- Reboot the server of the new added node.
After the reboot, your nodes status will be turned to “Synchronized” without any error.
