The SNMP feature can be easily installed using the feature section.
On the left menu, choose “Your system” / “Features”
Under the search field, type “Install"
After installed, the web interface add a new menu item SNMPv3 under “Your System” main section.
You can also notice that a "Monitor Proxy service" section is available. In fact, Artica has detected that you are using the proxy service and therefore allows you to monitor the proxy organs at the same time as the system.
Although the menu states SNMPv3, “SNMPv2” is active by default. If you want to communicate with SNMPv3, you just have to disable the SNMPv2 section and fill in the necessary credentials for SNMPv3 protocol.
If you want to limit the SNMP opening to the central SNMP server only, specify the address or addresses ( CDIR mode is supported) separated by a comma in the Remote SNMP console IP address (SNMPv2c) field.
