Intel® QuickAssist adapter initialization refers to the process of installing and configuring Intel® QuickAssist Technology (QAT) hardware on a system.
Intel® QAT provides hardware acceleration for cryptographic and compression operations, improving the performance of these tasks in various applications and services, particularly in data centers where these operations are critical and in high demand.
Intel® QAT is a built-in accelerator on 4th Gen and newer Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors that improves performance and helps protect data across today’s fastest-growing workloads. In combination with other specific integrated accelerators, Intel® QAT is a key component of Intel® Accelerator Engines for HPC, analytics, network, and storage workloads.Check your hardware in order to see if your server is compatible with Intel® QAT.
