The ICAP policies section allow you to allow or disallow the redirection of web flows to ICAP services.
Typically, this allows you to create whitelists for ICAP services.
ICAP Policies feature is available on Artica v4.30x with Service Pack instable 967 or Artica v4.40
- The ICAP Polcies can be displayed using the left menu “
Your Proxy” > “ICAP Center" - Click on policies tab
- ICAP Policies can be used in the same way of Proxy ACLs
The difference is you can define to main type of rule :
- Not use ICAP engines: Force the proxy to query Internet without sending the flow to ICAP services ( typically a whitelist)
- Use ICAP engines: Force the proxy to send flow to ICAP engines.
