To use your Active Directory domain you need first Install the Active Directory feature and Setup your Active Directory LDAP connections
Important !!: Users have to use username@domain to be logged to the HotSpot
¶ Enable the use of Active Directory
On the left menu, go to “HotSpot” > “Parameters” and use the General settings tab
- Down to “Authentication” section and turn on the Active Directory Authentication option.
- Click on Apply button.
¶ Limit Authentication from some Active Directory groups
You may not want your users to be able to log in to the portal if they are not part of specific Active Directory groups.
For example, you could only allow connections to the Proxy service from users who are in the Active Directory group "Wifi_Guest".
- Use the “Active Directory Groups” tab.
- Click on the button “Active Directory Groups”
- On the Active Directory group screen, click on Browse button.
- Search your group with the search field and click on the green arrow to select it.
- Only Members of selected groups will be allowed to login from the HotSpot portal page.
