Back to proxy main configuration
When your users browse the Internet, they connect to the proxy service and it is up to the proxy to transmit the request and deliver the web content to your users.
If it cannot transmit requests for technical reasons (network issues, resolv issues, access blocking) it displays an error page of its own to the browsers.
By default, a red page is displayed with the following template.
Note: The proxy produces error pages only in HTTP mode, the encrypted stream such as SSL cannot be modified by the proxy, so you won't see the error page.( see Error pages are not displayed using SSL) except you use the Proxy SSL decryption feature
These error pages are also used when the proxy encounters ban rules built with ACls.
However, you can also use the The Web Error Page Service to offer more functionality to your users.
Artica allows you to modify and customize these error pages.
