This feature is available on Artica v4.40 Service Pack 72.
It allows you to check that the resolution of a host name is still effective.
If a resolution error is detected then the service is restarted to renew the negative cache
On the left menu, use the DNS > “DNS Forwarders” menu.
Click on the “Inactive link” on the Watchdog row.
- Turn ON the enable checkbox.
- in the domain field, set the hostname to resolve, if this hostname cannot be resolved, the watchdog restart the service.
- Define the period of the check task.
- Click on Apply button
