Many DNS applications offer SafeSearch support.
But the problem often encountered is enabling SafeSearch for everyone.
In this new feature, SafeSearch is a rule that can be activated based on source objects.
Artuca supports the following SafeSearch engines:Google, Qwant, Brave, Bing, Youtube (strict), Youtube (Moderate), Duckduckgo, Yandex and PixabayThis feature is available in Artica v4.40 SP60
¶ The Rule
- When creating a new rule, choose the SafeSearch(s) option, specify the rule name and click add
- This simple operation gives you a global SafeSearch.
If no objects are added to the rule, the DNS firewall assumes that all clients will be subject to SafeSearch.
¶ Choose Engines
Select the rule and click on the “SafeSearch(s)” tab and turn on or turn off search engines that will be subject to the strengthening of SafeSearch
¶ Filter by sources
dnsquerytype,src,geoipsrcobjects are supported on this rule so you can force Google SafeSearch for one set of source IP addresses while another will not be subject to it.
