Artica Meta is in charge of downloading and maintaining all software components published by Artica Tech for the Artica platform. By default, it retrieves and stores every available version to ensure full compatibility and rollback capability. This behavior can be customized to better align with your storage strategy and operational requirements.
Full Mode allows Artica to download and store all available software versions. While this increases update storage usage on your server, it provides full rollback capability — enabling you to redeploy previous software versions whenever necessary.
Lightweight Mode: Download only the latest available versions. This mode allows you to keep your Artica servers updated with the most recent releases while minimizing storage usage. However, it does not allow deployment or reinstallation of previous software versions.
On the left menu, go to Artica Meta service > Repository
Click on Behavior link
If enabled, the Meta server will store only the latest available versions and turn to Lightweight Mode. This option will significantly reduce storage usage. However, it will prevent you from reverting to a previous software version.
