In v4.40, Artica have a local DNS cache, this local DNS cache use best server do resolve hosts.
If you have defined your Active Directory and the Google Public DNS, it should use Google to resolve your internal servers.
To fix this issue you can:
¶ A) Disable the DNS cache service
In this case, the DNS search will be in standard mode and will use the specified DNS in the correct order.
¶ B) Enforce DNS queries routing.
Use the “Forward zone” feature to enforce the use of your Active Directory for the correct domain
