Sometimes the Debian updates were trying to install systemd package.
When installed, systemd service management modifies the service startup parameters with an unexpected behavior.
Especially for the memcached service that is a central service for Artica.
When using 4.30.000000 Service Pack 211 or above, Artica detects the presence of systemd and disable the memcached daemon management from systemd.
¶ Is Systemd is installed ?
Use “Your System” > “System Information”
You will see a red warning icon with “Systemd installed” label.
¶ Remove Systemd
This operation requires 2 reboots of your system.
- Click on the red warning icon link.
- You will be prompted to confirm the removal operation.
- Wait during the removal process ( about 2 minutes )
- At the end, you will be prompted to reboot the Artica server
