The auto-mount Center feature works by using a daemon which is responsible for mounting and unmounting the file systems on demand.
When a task accesses a directory that is configured for automounting, the daemon automatically mounts the corresponding file system, and when the task is done, it unmounts the file system after a period of inactivity ( 10 minutes )
The Auto-mount Center is compatible with a wide range of file systems and storage devices, including network shares.
This makes it a versatile tool for managing removable storage devices in Artica Box.
Automounts are mounted only as they are accessed, and they are unmounted after a period of inactivity.
Because of this, automounting NFS/Samba shares conserves bandwidth and offers better overall performance compared to static mounts
