Whitelisting Office365 improve performances when authenticate users.
Indeed, the Office365 application, in order to provide a real-time view of information, constantly sends requests to the Microsoft cloud.
This behaviour requires the proxy to perform authentication and WAF policy calculation.
Since this application is critical, it makes sense to let the proxy simply forward the requests without any processing.
Microsoft is expanding its data centres and Artica needs to refresh the list of remote web servers used by Office365.
Notice: For versions before 4.3x Service Pack 323, Artica is unable to download the Microsoft list.
Microsoft have modified accesses to this information.
To fix it, see information at the end of this web page
If you enable this feature, Artica will periodically download the list from Microsoft to add the refreshed servers to the white list.
Since July 2021, Microsoft have changed it's repository list.
This issue can be resolved using a special fix that you can download here:
http://articatech.net/download/wiki/4.30/ntpdate/artica-4.30.000000.tgz
It can be applied for all version before 4.30x Service Pack 323 using the same method to apply a Service Pack
The difference is when you will apply the Hotfix, Artica claim that the version is the same.
Did not care about the error, the HotFix will be correctly applied.
