By default, if no acl is defined, using the proxy allows to go everywhere, every time.
- To create a new acl, click on the ACL icon and select “New rule” button
- The easy way is to first deny all from all and then set what you want to allow
- Create a new rule using “Deny Access”
- Then, you have one rule that deny all, nobody can use the SOCKS proxy.
- Now create a new rule that allow connections
- You will redirected to the ACL edition mode.
First we want for example allow only SSH connections and access to Artica Web console on remote servers: - On the remote ports, set 22 and 9000
- Click on Apply button
- Select “Destinations” and define remote addresses you want to limit.
- Now on the main ACLs rules, move your allow rule on the top using the move arrow and click on “Apply rules” button
