After connecting to the Active Directory, you receive an error message from your Active Directory server resolving the DNS Cache
xx.xxxx.local lookup activedirectory.local on 127.0.0.1:53: no such host
This because the .local extension is a reserved TLD for local box records.
In this case you need to tell the DNS Cache to disable the .local tld reservation.
¶ Disable the .local reservation on the DNS Cache.
On the left menu, go to DNS > DNS Cache Service and down to “Disable local reservation” link
- Turn ON the “Disable Local reservation" option
