This behavior is very random and happens in very rare cases.
For this, a watchdog feature is available.
It is available for 4.30 after service Pack 960 with the fix in this article or in v4.40 Service Pack 13
Download the HotFix for Artica 4.30x after service pack 960 ( http://articatech.net/download/wiki/4.30/filedesc-instable/artica-4.40.000000.tgz)
- On the left menu, click on “
Your Proxy” > “Status" > “Watchdog” tab
- Turn on the option “Check File Descriptors parameter”
- Click on Apply button
This operation will create a task that will check that the file descriptors are well coordinated with the requested configuration.
If this is not the case (after the reboot for example) then the proxy service will be restarted in order to restore the parameter in memory.
