Back SSL Inspection with Artica Proxy
By default, the proxy leaves the protocol as is and does not decrypt Internet access.
To do this, you must create a rule that forces decryption.
The SSL rules allow you to indicate in a precise way by the technique of the ACLs which are the Internet sites which must be decrypted or not.
Of course you can create a global rule that decrypts everything, and make no-decryption rules for specific sites.
- On the left menu, choose “Your Proxy” / “SSL Protocol”
- Click on the “New Rule” button
- Give the rule name and ensure that “Decrypt SSL” is enabled.
- The rule is added with an error, this is normal, because no object is associated to this rule.
- Click on your new rule.
- Select the proxy objects tab and add or link the object “All” means everything
- Finally click on the button “Apply rules” in order to make the SSL decryption in production mode.
