When trying to connect your Proxy server to the domain, you receive
checking the NETLOGON for domain[DOMAIN] dc connection to "" failednet_ads: Failed to join domain: failed to precreate account in ou cn=Computers,dc=DOMAIN,dc=TLD: Constraint violation
- DNS Issues: When doing multiple ping tests against the full domain name on the Artica Box, the domain name can be resolved to different IP addresses.Some resolved IP addresses from the test above are not reachable from the Artica box
Fix this issue by force the proxy to resolve the right IP address or clean the AD DNS. - An already computer object exists on the Active Directory using Kerberos or NTLM.
Fix this issue by changing the name of the proxy itself or remove the computer object on the Actove Directory. - A kerberos connection still exists on the Artica Box ( using the SP 951 or Artica v4.40 )
You will see on the left pan, the Kerberos Principal name connected to the AD, if the name did not correspond to the real hostname of the Artica box, click on Disconnect button.
