¶ The List of downloaded or uploaded URLs object (URLsDB)
Corporate License required - Artica 4.30x Service Pack 97 or above
This object can periodically retreive Urls via HTTP or HTTPs or can be filled by uploading a text file.
it matches strictly the full urls path listed in case sensitive.
This object can be filled by uploading a text file. It can also downloads periodically a file by giving its URL.
¶ Formatted text file.
Both remotely or by uploading the data, URLs must be the full URL separated by a carriage return.

¶ HTTPs URLs
If your proxy did not decrypt protocol ( SSL MAN-IN-THE-MIDDLE ) the proxy will not have access to the full URL, the proxy understand only the requested domain name and sub-domain.
if this case, https://api.mywot.com/will match as https://api.mywot.com/api?domain=dom1will not match.
¶ Using the object
- The object can be used anywhere in ACLs rules
- When adding a new object, click on “Choose” button in order to list all available objects
- In the search field, type “list” or “url_db”
- Select the “url_db” method
- After adding the new object, click on the added object link
- If just need to import a bulk of URLs, just click on the import button, you will be able to upload your text file that stores all URLs
- If you plan to let Artica downloading periodically a file, turn ON the “Automatic update” checkbox.
- Define the interval to fetch the remote file.
- Set the URL where the file is stored.
3 tool tips are displayed after downloading/uploading the data:
- The number of items saved in local database: you can click on the tool tip in order to display the downloaded content.
- The last updated time: When downloading the file, Artica checks if there are something modified, if the file is modified, then Artica populate the database and set the updated time.
- The last check: When Artica have checked the remote file.
