This is a useful trick in some cases, especially when performing a suspicious action from a trusted IP address.
For example, if you need to perform a scan on a server from a trusted public IP address, this will avoid being banned every time.
This feature is available on Artica v4.50 Service Pack 1 or Hotfix 20230720-19
On the left menu, go “Network” > “Your Networks”
- This section displays a list of registered networks, while the "Trusted network" column lets you whitelist networks for network security applications such as IDS, CrowdSec and Firewall.
- If you want to add a unique IP address, use the /32 mask.
- To whitelist this address for firewalls, use the Trusted Network option.
When you add or modify an option, Artica automatically informs services that depend on it.
