DWService is an open source project which offers a service to allow access to your Artica service using a standard web browser - no client-side download required!
Wherever you may be in the world, you may need to access your Artica server.
You can connect to the DWService website from any device and immediately gain control of your appliance.It is available on Artica 4.30 Service Pack 155
It is mostly used if Artica support team need to access to your Artica server in order to fix any Artica issue.
¶ Installing the DWService feature.
- On the feature section, search the entry dwservice.
- Click on Install button under the DWService Remote Control row
¶ Set the client Key
- On the left menu, choose DWService / Status
- Put the Key under the key row in order to access control.
¶ Installation failed ( Artica v 4.30 SP157 or above)
It is possible that the installation using the feature section stuck or fail to install.
The installation process try to retrieve the installation package to the dwservice.net website.
Use this procedure to avoid this operation:
- Download the package here : http://articatech.net/download/dwagent.tar.gz
- Go to Your System / Update section
- Click on Manual Update button and upload the dwagent.tar.gz file ( did not rename the filename)
- Once the package is successfully uploaded and installed, return back to the feature section and install again the DWService Remote Control
