This feature is available on Artica v4.40 or Artica v4.30 SP 713 or above.
This function allows you to set a limit on the size of the log file, by default Artica will delete it if it exceeds 500MB.
You can also keep it in order to ensure a rotation.
Artica will not delete it but will compress it and store it in the directory dedicated to legal logs.
- In the left menu, choose “Parameters” and “Statistics Parameters” tab.
- In the “Realtime events” section, you define the maximal size in “Remove Files is Size Exceed”.
- If you turn on “Rotate Log File” option, Artica will backup the log file before remove it and stores it inside the legal logs directory
