This feature allows you to forge a response with the specified IPv4 (for an A query) or IPv6 (for an AAAA) addresses. basically, all that match the query type (A, AAAA or ANY) will get spoofed in.
This allows you to independently force a few specific hosts without having to interact with all of your DNS servers' databases.
If you require to forge a reponse according to a domain/host and a source IP address, use ACLs objects instead or directly in in ACL rule
- To force a DNS record, use the “My Computers” Section.
- Add a new computer and activate the “DNS Entry” option.
After adding the record, your DNS Load-balancer service will be able to force the resolution of your computer hostname
