This feature is available on Artica 4.40 or Artica 4.30 Service Pack 693.
It is available when using the Artica Enterprise Edition.
Artica periodically retrieves a database containing a set of malicious , scam, phishing, advertising sites.
This database prohibits the DNS service from transmitting DNS responses for these domains.
- Under DNS / DNS Cache service
- Click on Install button inside the “DNS Firewall” widget
- The widget will be turned to green and display the number of deny rules downloaded from the Artica repository server.
Blocked domain will be displayed as REFUSED in DNS events
