The cluster mode centralizes a single DHCP configuration and automatically replicates it across all nodes in the group.
Each node effectively becomes a configuration clone of the others.
This mode is particularly useful when ensuring high availability for your DHCP service, as it guarantees that all nodes share identical reservations and scopes.
¶ Enable the Cluster mode.
- On the groups section, click on the Edit icon
- Turn the DHCP Cluster mode to ON
- Click on Apply button
- The label on the table will be switch to "DHCP Server (Cluster mode)"
¶ Configuration
- Select the blue label to configure your DHCP service.
- Create scopes and reservations.
- Go to the “Apply” tab
- You will see the summary of the configuration.
- To apply configuration on all DHCP servers, click on Apply to all agents button
